APS3 National Police Checking Service, Support Officer, Canberra - Casual Employment RegisterThe National Police Checking Service (NPCS) within the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) are always on the lookout for talented individuals seeking casual/intermittent or flexible hours. Our NPCS casuals manage secondary clearance activities.These activities assist in the processing of criminal history checks by resolving the identity of the persons of interest who have matched against national police records in National Policing Information (NPI) Systems.Working within a dynamic team environment, individuals will be required to have good communication and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines and key performance indicators (KPIs). Successful candidates must have the ability to use strategic and analytical thinking to make match decisions and will be required to perform tasks autonomously with minimal supervision. They will be required to have sound computer literacy skills, and the ability to work across multiple IT platforms including the Microsoft Office suite of programs.These roles include flexible and intermittent working arrangements, and the successful candidates will be paid an hourly rate equivalent to an ACIC APS level 3, plus loading and superannuation.Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:How to applyApplications must be submitted online through our Recruitment Portal.
