One at 10/27 Royal South Australian Regiment (10/27 RSAR), Keswick Barracks and the other at 9th Combat Supply Support Battalion (9 CSSB), Warradale Barracks.
Both positions require an APS 3 Logistic Officer to be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve straightforward logistics inventory management and general warehouse operations.
They will work within an integrated workforce and small team environment to meet operational outcomes and routine stores governance deadlines to support Defence activities, training and compliance.
About our Team 9th Brigade and its units contain multi-disciplinary teams with an integrated workforce that provides command and control, operations and planning, training and recruitment functions over a number of Defence capabilities in South Australia.

The unit has a small logistic team that provides logistic support and provision of stores and equipment to sub-units across South Australia.9 CSSB is an Army Reserve Logistic Unit based at Warradale Barracks.
9 CSSB has a larger integrated logistic workforce providing logistic support to 9 Brigade and wider Army capability outputs.

The APS3 Logistic Officers will need to have a good level of logistic/inventory management experience and be able to liaise and apply standard procedures to meet unit requirements.
The APS 3 Logistic Officers will need to be a self-starter, required to work in a unit warehouse utilising material handling equipment and drive vehicles up to a medium rigid truck to various Defence sites.
They will also be required to work in an office environment and have the ability to use logistic IT software systems.
They will have good communication skills to inform supervisors, team members and customers to achieve required warehouse functions and equipment/stores management outcomes for Defence.
