An exciting opportunity to join a reputable and vital community based Federal Government Agency in Moree! Entry level position available at an APS3 level.
Some of the responsibilities in this role include (but are not limited to):
Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and online support.
Resolving customer enquiries, providing information and/or referring customers to appropriate government or community services.
Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are accessible for participants.
Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the organisations business systems.
What we're looking for:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong administrative experience
Previous experience with diary and email management, scheduing meeitngs, coordinating travel, document preparation would be an advantage
Kknowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Ability to pick up new systems quickly
High level of resilience
Highly regarded if you have experience in: Disability (work or lived in), Government
Other details:
Full time hours (37.5 per week)
This is a temporary contract, loading is applied so there are no leave entitlements
This position is based in office - No work from home
