*Closing Date: 9 AM Wednesday 10 July 2024 face2face reference: 618082  Location: Adelaide, SA Hours: full-time  Contract length: Contract until 24 December 2024 Entry requirements: National Police Check Pay range: $47.00 - $50.00 p/h ex super About the role: The APS 3 Client Support Officer will work as part of a dedicated team and will assist in providing information and support to health providers and clients.
The team is also responsible for the management of prior financial authorisation requests for medical procedures and treatments, and processing client reimbursements for expense claims and a variety of health related provider and client accounts.
Duties: Answer telephone queries from contracted health providers and the community (scheduled call centre environment phone queues).
Process requests for treatment and exercising delegations where appropriate.
Prepare correspondence and carry out data entry.
Check eligibility for health treatments.
Required experience/skills: Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical services in roles involving client interaction and support.
Ability to manage own workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated experience in providing direct service to clients, including answering telephone queries and liaising with clients in a scheduled call centre environment.
Desirable experience/skills: Experience in managing financial authorizations, processing reimbursements, and handling provider and client accounts.
