Lead the preparation and submission of environmental impact assessments, permit applications, and regulatory approvals essential for mining operations.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, government agencies, and external consultants to collect relevant data, conduct environmental studies, and address regulatory requirements.Stay abreast of evolving environmental regulations, policies, and best practices, providing strategic advice to management on potential implications for operations.Develop and implement strategies to optimise the approvals process, mitigate risks, and enhance project delivery timelines.Conduct thorough environmental risk assessments and propose mitigation measures to minimise environmental impacts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning, design, and execution.Act as a representative of the company in meetings, hearings, and consultations with regulatory authorities, community stakeholders, and industry peers.
