Opportunities will be open from November 2024 in the following areas: Construction Joinery Automotive Engineering Allied Trades Commercial Cookery This is your chance to train on the job in a full-time role, gaining invaluable experience and a trade qualification, over a timeframe of up to four years.
You will be supported by professional staff in the workplace and receive mentoring and formal RTO training as part of your employment.

What would this involve?
You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your training contract and hosted to one of our valued clients.
Full time hours.
Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays for the year.
Theory training conducted one-on-one in the workplace with our experienced trainer.
To be considered for these roles you must: Have a positive work ethic, be well presented, with a professional attitude and disposition.
Demonstrate a strong interest in your chosen industry, as per the opportunities listed.
Have the ability to work autonomously and as part to a highly motivated team.
Be able to perform routine and repetitive tasks when required.
Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrate the ability to take and follow direction.
Be organised and show the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads.
Aptitude testing will need to be undertaken as part of the recruitment process, within a strict time-frame.
Demonstrate attention to detail – your resume & cover letter will be scrutinised.
Have knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements.
Be willing to undertake pre-employment checks including National Police Certificate, and a medical assessment.
Show the willingness to undertake further training and development as required.
Apprenticeship wages apply.
Desirable: A certificate II vocational pathway qualification in your chosen trade.
Essential: Vehicle licence and the ability to get to and from work independently.
