Do you enjoy water sports and have a flare for design? We're seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team in Marine Craft Construction!
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, from new boat fabrication to water craft design and fibre glass repairs.
With the support of qualified trades people, you will be: Manufacturing and repairing boats in fibre-reinforced plasticFabrication with timber and metalMarine/boat yard operationsFitting out of internal and external components of vesselsInstallation of engineering drive systems.Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria: An interest and commitment to work in this industryA current Driver's Licence and own vehicleWork experience within a creative industry is highly desirablePhysically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detailReliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriouslyIdeally, have your own basic toolsAs an apprentice with ECA, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including: Award wages (paid fortnightly) + Super + Holiday Leave Loading + AllowancesPaid TAFE block periods + Work shirts provided + Safety EquipmentLong-term career prospects for the right candidateA dedicated Field Officer assigned for full mentoring and support during your apprenticeship, as well as a full team of staff overseeing your apprenticeship, ensuring you only need to focus on your work and collegeGenuine support for your personal wellbeing, including access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)A large network of Host Employers looking to host enthusiastic apprentices and help them become trade qualified**Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview** Job Type: Apprenticeship
