Work & Training together with our valued Host have an amazing opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment where this apprenticeship will provide the on-the-job skills and experience to gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (CPC32620) What would this involve?
You would be employed by Work & Training and hosted to our valued Host Business.
Work is generally full time – Monday to Friday.
Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
Attending block training dates through TasTAFE.
You would receive dedicated mentoring and support throughout the apprenticeship.
Your workplace supervisors and team would provide daily instruction and additional workplace knowledge.
Learn how to: Install and maintain roofs, cladding and flashings.
Install rainwater products such as downpipes, gutters and storage tanks.
Work in a safe manner, adhering to strict guidelines and processes.
Use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment.
Develop and utilise your practical knowledge in rain and storm water systems.
Enhance your verbal and written communication skills.
Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Wage: National Training Wage applies.
Essential requirements: As a physically demanding role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
Drivers Licence, reliable vehicle.
White Card.
