Apprenticeship - Carpentry

If you love the residential construction industry and want to work for a custom builder this position could be perfect for you. During your Apprenticeship, you will be provided with mentoring while you complete on-the-job and off-the-job training. We will provide you with ongoing support to help you achieve your career goals. What will you be doing? Our Host employer is a family owned and operated business working predominately in inner city suburbs. You may already have completed 1 or 2 years of your carpentry apprenticeship. Ideally you will also have: A passion for working in residential construction on custom homes A focus on health and safety and the ability to maintain a safe work environment A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle Experience as a team player through employment or team sports A positive attitude to new challenges, pride in your work and a willingness to learn Above average physical fitness and well-developed hand-eye coordination Great communication skills and openness to work alongside others Completed more than 10 units of competency towards your Certificate III in Carpentry.
