Grafico group is seeking an Apprentice Sign Writer / Sign Maker / Installer to work in our modern and dynamic, Design, Print and Signage studio in North Melbourne (just near the City link exit and close to public transport).Here's your opportunity to work as part of a friendly and professional team who offer exceptional service to a wide range of businesses.
To be considered for this role, you would need to be either currently undertaking an apprenticeship in sign writing, or willing to commence an apprenticeship / Certificate III in Signs and Graphics @ VicUni/Tafe As an apprentice @ Grafico you would be involved in a wide range of projects and working in our various departments ( AUTO, WALLS & SIGNAGE) which would entail:
• Working with the production team trimming & laminating of various prints
• Installing custom print wallpaper and art prints (you may even get the chance to work on site at The Block TV show which Grafico is a sponsor.
)• Installing signs on shops, buildings and vehicles along side our install team• Making and installing promotional & display signage• Heavy lifting, climbing ladders & scissor lifts to install signage• Some basic vehicle wrapping/graphics
