Your leadership skills and experience will be paramount in guiding and supporting apprentices throughout their journey.If you have a proven track record of providing effective guidance and support to apprentices, we encourage you to apply for this fulfilling position where you can help cultivate the future stars of tomorrow and make a meaningful impact.What we're offering:Starting base salary of $143,896 + 16% superannuationFull-time, ongoing opportunitySouth Canberra location with free parkingKey Responsibilities:Provide guidance, support and leadership to the Apprentices.Support strategic workforce planning and the attraction, recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new apprentices.Support the development of individual training plans for apprentices in liaison with the nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and the Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP).Manage the induction of Apprentices and develop annual rotation schedules for placements.Contextualise training material for training delivery to reflect Evoenergy's work practices.Meet and communicate with organisational branches, stakeholders, managers, and supervisors in relation to the apprenticeship program.Monitor and evaluate performance, conduct performance reviews for all Apprentices and promptly respond to performance issues.Conduct regular field visits, hold monthly toolbox talks, and ensure the provision of relevant forums for apprentices to network and engage with key stakeholders.Facilitate all organisational and regulatory reporting and applications associated to the Apprentice Program and monitor and report expenditure associated to Apprentice Budget.Our Ideal Candidate:Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and ESI industry training frameworkA Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution Overhead or Power Systems Cable Jointing, Certificate III in Electrotechnology, or equivalentA Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to obtainQualification or experience in leadership (desirable)Excellent written and oral communication skillsTechnology skills that contribute to the effective execution of tasksDemonstrated use of Microsoft Office suite of software, particularly Word, PowerPoint, ExcelDemonstrates use of Learning Management Systems and web hosting platformsWorking with vulnerable people checkApply nowApply through our Recruitment Portal by submitting your resume and a cover letter that clearly outlines the key skills, knowledge and experience you can bring to the role.
