About the position Commencing in January 2025 , for a period of four y ears , we are looking for Apprentice Plumbers to join our organisation.
As an Apprentice Plumber you will provide a broad range of plumbing maintenance and works for Council's assets typically water and wastewater assets including stormwater drainage, and buildings; whilst simultaneously gaining a Certificate III in Plumbing (General Plumber).
These entry level positions provide an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in Council's Infrastructure & Property Directorate.

About you School Certificate or equivalent.
Current Drivers Licence (minimum NSW Provisional P1 Licence or equivalent).
White card (general construction induction card) or willingness to obtain.
Confidence working at heights and in confined spaces.
Strong willingness to learn and the ability to successfully complete a Certificate III over the course of up to 4 years.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans or willingness to obtain.
Commitment to complete induction and training programs for safe operation of all equipment.
Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities outlined in the Position Description.
Demonstrated fundamental key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table outlined in the Position Description.
We offer Temporary full time employment for 4 years, working 38 hours per week.
The opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Plumbing (General Plumber).
Salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.
