We are on the hunt for hard working and creative candidates who have in interest in Painting to join our team as an Apprentice Painter.
Work alongside experienced painters to learn the skills and techniques required to become a qualified Painter!
Important Details: You can expect to work full-time, 40 hours per week + the opportunity to accrue an RDO each month Apprenticeship duration: 4 years Earn while you learn and gain your Cert III in Painting and Decorating With the support of qualified tradespeople, you will: Surface preparation - sanding, filling cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
Applying proper painting techniques, including brushwork, roller application, and spray painting.
Mixing and matching paint colours accurately according to project requirements.
Applying primers, undercoats, and paint coats to surfaces with precision and attention to detail.
Applying wallpaper including measuring, cutting, and hanging wallpaper.
Cleaning and maintaining painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
Adhering to health and safety regulations and using PPE.
Assisting with decorative finishes, such as faux painting, stencilling, or special effects.
Interacting with clients in a professional and courteous manner, understanding their requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
