The Opportunity –
Novaskill has partnered with Northern Beaches Council to offer multiple Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprenticeship opportunities including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.
You'll complete a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology whilst working in the Community Transport, Parking & Fleet Team over 2 Years through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation and practical on-the-job experience at the Northern Beaches Council.
Learnings –
Prepare different surfaces for painting
Apply paint using various tools and equipment
Apply decorative wallpaper
Create textured surfaces
Communicate with clients to achieve their vision
Outcomes –
Experience working on residential and commercial interiors
A sound understanding of work health and safety in the construction industry
Eligibility to apply for a painting trade licence
Strong pathways to continue your studies and enhance your career opportunities

An intermediate level of fitness to manage physical demands
