Apprentice Horticulture

About the role Embark on a rewarding learning journey as an Apprentice Horticulture at prestigious locations such as Private Schools, Universities, Parks and gardens etc. Alongside your practical duties in maintaining green spaces, you'll also attend weekly classroom learning sessions. This four-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for career advancement. At the end of the program, you'll be trade-qualified as a Horticulturalist . You will progress to take on roles as a Team Leader or Site Manager, ready to lead with confidence. Responsibilities Care for plants, trees, and green areas. Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as pruning and weeding. Learn to identify and treat pests, diseases, and weeds. Safely handle chemicals and operate horticultural equipment.
