Purpose of the role To train as an engineering operative apprentice to Level 3 standard, to undertake a structured training program of academic study and workshop and on-site work in order to gain the required skills, knowledge and behaviours to carry out planned maintenance and inspection duties and to keep accurate records in accordance with management requirements, to be qualified in highlighting and resolving potential problems in order to maximise plant availability and eliminate unplanned downtime.
Key accountabilities Ensure timely production of relevant reports as required by management.Good working relationships with staff onsite.Adherence to company policy & procedures.Maintain plant to optimise production.Qualifications An interest in engineering, fabrication and plant maintenance.Willingness to learn.Able to work with digital platforms for inspections on digital maintenance.Education/Qualification Minimum of a Grade 4+ equivalent to a C at GCSE in Maths and English.What's on Offer Salary: £18,274.44 pa plus production bonusLocation: Hexham
