As an Apprentice Electrician, you will have the opportunity to partner with and learn from experienced tradespeople and specialists. You'll be learning the trade while working with the maintenance team, participating in competency development activities and assisting with general maintenance activities, fault-finding, and supporting improvement programs.This is a 4-year Apprenticeship, supporting you in obtaining a trade certificate, alongside practical manufacturing experience with Australia's leading Beverage company.About YouWe are seeking an enthusiastic team-player with a commitment to development and a curiosity for how things work. If you are eager to learn, and wish to utilise the knowledge, expertise, and support from the Asahi team to build your career, we encourage you to apply today.Highly regarded applicants may also possess the following:Prior studies in a technical discipline, or hobbies relevant to aptitude in electrical systemsExperience in an environment where safety protocols were followedStrong communication skills, and ability to build relationships with a diverse range of peopleAbility to follow instructions and reliably support a teamKey ResponsibilitiesAttend and complete all RTO requirements contributing to earning your qualificationCollaborate with the maintenance teamAssist in problem-solving and the execution of assigned workInvestigate and escalate equipment or machine related issues to the appropriate specialist or managerStudying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settingsAnalyse how the plant works and the control systems in placeWork on electrical plant and control systems under supervisionParticipate in risk assessments to contribute to ongoing improvements in machine and process safetyEnsure compliance with job specifications, maintaining a high standard of quality in all work performedFollow and apply all safe working procedures and practices consistentlyAsahi Beverages is a leading multi-beverage organisation with a rich and varied history.
