About the role We are looking for a 1st year Mobile Plant Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join our Caboolture Branch. Do you like problem solving & repairing things with your hands & are you keen to have a career in the heavy plant and equipment industry? We are looking to hear from you if you are someone who is: Driven to learn & motivated to succeed. Interested in mobile plant & heavy machinery industry.
About you A successful college history (yr 12 leaver) with a VET pathway in trade related areasSolid mathematics, science and english skillsA genuine interest in a mobile plant & mechanicsA basic understanding of safety in the workplaceA positive, can do, conscientious, and eager to learn attitude.The ability to take direction and show initiative.Current driver's licence or ability to obtain once you meet the minimum eligibility requirementsA strong work ethic which means you will be reliable, punctual and honest and committed to completing your trade qualificationApplicants must be willing to commit to undertaking an apprenticeship. This includes participation in both practical training and completion of theory based study components of TAFE. Prior to engagement you will be required to attend an aptitude test and a pre-placement medical. You will be required to submit a resume, cover letter and copies of your last two school reports on application.
