The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for someone on their 3rd or 4th year Diesel Mechanics Apprenticeship to join the team at Western Truck Repairs in Williamstown.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will learn how to diagnose and repair mechanical faults on diesel engines and perform quality control and inspection of trucks.
Role ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections and complete damage reports as per company procedures.Carry out mechanic diagnosis, repair, and replacements as required.Perform repairs and refurbishing of recycled parts to required quality standards.Ensure no vehicle or component is ever refitted or supplied if not safe to do so.Upon request, carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet.You will be required to: Follow all safety policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate PPE is worn at all times.Handle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention ensuring they remain safe, clean, and in a workable condition.Complete all course theory work by the due date as required.Does this sound like you?
