The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for someone to begin a Diesel Mechanics Apprenticeship and join the team at Western Truck Repairs in Williamstown.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will learn how to diagnose and repair mechanical faults on diesel engines and perform quality control and inspection of trucks.
Role responsibilitiesPerform inspections and complete damage reports as per company proceduresCarry out mechanic diagnosis, repair and replacements as requiredPerform repairs and refurbishing of recycled parts to required quality standardsEnsure no vehicle or component is ever refitted or supplied if not safe to do soUpon request carry out minor/small repairs as per Job SheetYou will be required to: Follow all safety policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate PPE is worn at all timesHandle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention ensuring they remain safe, clean and in a workable conditionComplete all course theory work by the due date as requiredDoes this sound like you?
