Apprentice Cabinet Maker

A Cabinet Making apprenticeship opportunity to learn operating machines, hand tools, and assemble cabinetry. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean workspace and complying with Work Health and Safety requirements. Requirements include physical fitness, written and oral communication skills, and a strong desire to start a successful career. Eligibility requires being an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or having full working rights.
• Learning to operate machines such as Edge bander, Panel Saw and Blum Minipress Machine
• Learning to use Both powered and battery-operated hand tools
• Learn to assemble cabinetry and install cabinetry hardware
• Maintaining a clean workspace
• Complying with Work Health and Safety requirements
• Physical fitness as lifting of materials as required
• Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to complete standard documents and calculations
• Certificate 2, 3 or 4 in Cabinet Making, work experience, and hand tool skills would be an advantage
