Our team are currently looking for an Experienced and Enthusiastic Applications Specialist to Join the Business.
What you will do:
Reporting to the Technology Platform Manager, you will have the opportunity to partner with the business in effectively managing, operating, administering and identifying areas of opportunities for continuous improvement across our expansive business platforms. The Applications Specialist will be a subject matter expert in delivering and managing Perth Airport's core business applications, databases and their underlying systems.
You will have extensive experience and exposure to database, applications and systems administration in cloud, hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. This role will require a high level of compliance and error detection.
Perth Airport's Applications Specialist will be a trusted advisory body and will be expected to work with both internal and external stakeholders. The role is diverse by nature and will include the delivery of business systems and applications.
With a resilient nature and excellent relationship skills, you will enjoy interacting with all stakeholders to provide expert strategic advice and counsel. You will have a desire to research, develop and establish best practices within the space.
Please note this position will require the successful candidate to participate in on-call arrangements.
About you:
To be successful, you will have excellent written and verbal communications skills along with relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Databases or a related field or equivalent work experience. In addition, exposure within Techone and related ERP's is essential to be considered for this role. The successful candidate will also demonstrate extensive understanding of cloud-based applications and the Microsoft 365 suite.
