Period of employment / Hours: Fixed term full-time day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation) commencing ASAP for a period of 12 months.
Duties: Support the provision of an applications administration, support, and maintenance service to ensure the ongoing stability and security of Homes Tasmania's applications, tools and technologies and their operating environment. Provide support to team members and collaborate with business units, external stakeholders, vendors/suppliers to support compliance, agreed standards and service levels are monitored and reported. Contribute to Homes Tasmania's digital operating environment being fit for purpose. Contribute to the building of an inclusive team through change that together with all ITMS teams also builds a collaborative business unit that enables Homes Tasmania achieve its stated objectives. Skills and experience: Selection criteria includes:
Demonstrated experience in the management, administration and monitoring of applications including support services. Understanding, or ability to acquire, of Tasmanian Government digital strategies, policies, and guidelines and how they relate to Homes Tasmania. Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills to analyse complex information and technology-related issues, with the ability to identify reasonable options for action and make recommendations. Working towards or successful completion of qualifications, and/or experience relevant to the role such as:
Recent industry experience in the delivery of applications administration services. Proven experience with Atlassian products, including Confluence and Jira Service Management. Current Tasmanian Working with Children (Vulnerable People) Registration. Identification check. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
