The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Applications Development Manager to join our Business Information Systems branch. As the Applications Development Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Transport Information Management Committee's IT program, which will enable opportunities for increased customer services within DoT stakeholders, WA communities, and across Government.
You will oversee projects such as business automation, website redevelopment, and other corporate projects using secure principles and DevOps and cloud technologies.
We need someone who can Lead and manage the permanent and contract resources associated with the development, implementation, and delivery of technology upgrades.Prepare strategic business plans for the implementation of projects.Develop and implement risk management strategies and key performance indicators.Provide high-level advice to the Directors.Establish strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Operate within the Department's Corporate Governance Framework, policies, and procedures.Exemplify personal integrity and self-awareness.Cultivate strong, productive relationships and partnerships.Achieve results through the development of performance indicators and performance assessment methodologies.Communicate and influence at a senior level with a range of stakeholders including industry and government bodies.Currently there is one (1) permanent full-time opportunity. The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of employment (fixed-term or permanent) in this or similar roles for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of first appointment.
