About the role Appsmart Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Application Support Manager to join our dynamic team in our Melbourne office. This pivotal role involves setting up robust support processes, managing change effectively and establishing key performance metrics to ensure teh seamless functioning of business-critical applications.
What you'll be doing Process Set up: Develop, implement and continuously refine support processes to align with organisational goals and industry best practices Change Management: Manage the Support process changes, ensuring smooth transition with minimal disruption to business services Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the application support team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators to monitor effectiveness and quality. Stakeholder engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing insights and updates on Application Performance and Support Operations. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the application support team, including coordinating workloads, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance. Manage and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the application support team meets or exceeds customer expectations Provide leadership and guidance to the application support team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Continuously identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation What we're looking for 8+ years of experience in application support management, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry Strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of application architecture, software development lifecycles, and troubleshooting methodologies Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams to deliver exceptional customer service Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field What we offer At Appsmart Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
