Our Head Office provides the strategic direction and support services for Wintringham's residential, housing and community care services.
Your new role We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced IT professional with prior experience in Enterprise Application Support to join our team on a full-time basis (38 hours per week). As part of the IT leadership team, this role provides the right candidate the opportunity to lead and improve the organisation's Application Support service and Reporting. Your technical knowledge will underpin your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Other responsibilities and duties will include: Support Wintringham to achieve its strategic IT goals by managing Enterprise Applications.Monitor and action system upgrades, system maintenance, and disaster recovery processes to ensure high availability and business continuity.Maintain knowledge and awareness of best practice and prevailing developments in IT and apply these to promote continuous improvement at Wintringham.Manage the organisation's business intelligence/reporting tools to support operations, continuous improvement, and business decision making. This includes supporting report creation in MSSRS/SQL, Excel, and application built-in reporting tools, empowering staff to access and analyse data.Ensure effective application security practices are in place and adhered to, including auditing.Work closely with the IT PMO team to deliver on new application projects (several underway/planned).This is a hands-on role including management and development of a small team of professionals (currently 3 roles). We are looking for someone with a broad skill set in applications support and MSSQL/reporting. You will have good communication skills and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and work with different parts of the business to help support our clients.
You will be supported by our Head of IT and other members of the IT Team (consisting of an Infrastructure, Applications/BI, and IT PMO team) as you find your feet in the organisation.
What we'll require from you Prior experience in a similar role, Vendor Support/ Consulting, or IT Consulting role.Excellent problem-solving aptitude & ability to think on your feet.Exceptional communication skills (Written and Verbal).Strong hands-on technical expertise with a range of technologies such as:'Off-the-shelf' Enterprise Applications in a Microsoft environmentSQL Server, Reporting Services, and general reporting skills that could be applied to different technologiesWindows Server and 3 tier application architecturesIT (Application) SecurityExposure to Aged Care or NFP, and Epicor, LeeCare, Riskware, or PayGlobal products would be advantagesA readiness to learn new technologies as required.Ability to liaise with staff at every level of the organization.What's in it for you?
