Contribute to development of Equities warrants market making application stack. Work with the local and global warrants market making team in Pune and Frankfurt. Actively engage in all aspects of SDLC including close collaboration with the business, gathering functional and non-functional requirements, designing solutions, code reviews, testing and deploying applications in accordance with Citi's policies.Responsibilities:Development of the Warrants market making application stack, design solutions, coordinate delivery, investigate production incidents, participate in L2/L3 support activitiesDevelop technical solutions to meet business requirements taking into account recommended technologies, non-functional requirements, internal policies and proceduresParticipate in all elements of SDLC from gathering business requirements, analysis, code reviews, testing, deploying applicationsUnderstand and help shape Citi's global Warrants platformEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with peers and other local and global technology team membersEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with the local businessAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyComply with the ethical standards contained in the Code of ConductKey Competencies:Experience of implementing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and taking them from initial concept through to final delivery and post implementation supportIn-depth knowledge of FIX protocol and proven experience in front-office systemsUnderstanding of Market Making concepts & Electronic/Algo Trading is preferableExperience working in regulatory environmentsGood foundation in equity derivatives, and understanding of greeks & risk calculations is preferable.Understanding of high volume trading systems and technical challenges of their design and operationExperience in Java, C++ & C#Strong knowledge of relational databases and scripting languagesKnowledge of third party Market Data provider platforms (eg, Reuters) highly desirableExperience with working effectively with remote teams across different time zonesUnderstanding of guiding principles of robust high throughput/low latency architectureQualifications:8+ years of relevant experienceExperience in systems analysis and programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlinesAbility to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateAbility to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projectsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
