NEC is evolving, and we have an exciting opportunity within our Systems Engineering/Application packaging team, based in Darwin. We value collaboration and active involvement, so we're looking for team members who bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:Package and deploy applications within client IT environments using tools like Flexera AdminStudio and Application Deployment Toolkit.Provide support for operating systems, applications, and hardware testing, including creating and executing test plans and making recommendations.Offer Tier 3 support for application packaging, O/S testing, and troubleshooting.Deliver application packaging, user acceptance testing, and deployment aligned with ITIL standards.Continuously enhance packaging processes to meet specified standards.Help develop packaging standards and guidelines to optimize infrastructure strategy and procedures.Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure operations.Skills and Experience:3+ years of experience as an Application Packager in both Project and BAU settings.Proficiency with SCCM, Intune, and application deployment.Skills in application scripting, MSI packaging, and knowledge of Citrix and virtualization.Experience with ITIL frameworks for Change, Problem, and Incident Management.Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops and knowledge of the application lifecycle.Good general Windows 10, Windows 11, and Office 365 skills, and VMware workstation skills in end-user computing.Ability to communicate clearly with staff and users at all levels.Relevant training or qualifications in application packaging.About NEC:At NEC, we create a dynamic and supportive environment where motivated and passionate team members thrive.
