About the role We are currently seeking an experienced Applications Packager with a background across software and virtualisation packaging to provide on-going support across our Defence portfolio and drive the highest quality solutions to Fujitsu clients.About youResponsibilities and Accountabilities: Works within the support team on technical issues and problems related to customer infrastructure.
Develops an understanding of the customers environment and service requirements to enable successful delivery of the service.
Follows established procedures, recommends improvements, resolves enquiries, issues or problems.
Documents actions taken for continuous service improvement.
Takes ownership of issues identified.
Tries to understand the problem in order to find optimal solution or temporary workaround.
Escalates and/or gains support where necessary to resolve the problem.
Proactive and Taking responsibility for learning about current and new products, technologies to support daily business requirements.
Assist with the development and enhancement of relevant standards, procedures and guidelines Where possible identify and contribute to Customer Service Improvement Plans Requirements and Experience:4+ years of packaging software into MSI format3+ years of Virtualisation packagingAdvanced skills in App-V2+ years exposure in delivering package solutions into a XenApp environment4+years exposure integration applications into enterprise deployment mechanismsComplete understanding of application packaging and deployment methodologies using Windows Installer technologyMicrosoft deployment methodologies for Windows operating system.Power Shell scriptingStrong troubleshooting skills for application virtualisation (AppV) and SCCM, Intune deploymentMust hold current or reinstatable NV1 clearance Why Fujitsu?We are an organization with a strong set of values and a history of respecting fairness and equality, whilst promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
