VGA is seeking a passionate and motivated Application Engineer to join our dynamic Homologation, Business Development & Sales Support department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a final-year student or recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience and advance their career within a leading global organization.

In this role, you will play a key part in providing day-to-day application engineering support to the Mack, UD, and Volvo brand sales teams, as well as our extensive multi-branded dealer network. You will ensure that our products are optimally applied to meet the specific needs of our customers, helping us deliver customized, high-performance solutions across the region.

Key responsibilities include: Application engineering and technical support to sales, field and factory Provide application engineering (best product spec for the job) to sales, internal and external Review and application approval for customer adaptation requests Provide vehicle weight distribution and vehicle performance support and training Body builder support (specific drawings and technical guidance) Provide guidance and documentation to support non-standard vehicle ratings Co-ordination of vehicle application and load ratings Creation and/or review of technical documents (body installation manuals, vehicle specifications etc) Technical sales support representation at sales and marketing events Who are you? Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, or currently in the process of completing the 3rd or 4th year of studies in these fields. Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not required; a strong interest in the field is essential. Proficient in computer skills, with experience in 2D or 3D CAD software being a distinct advantage (though not mandatory). Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong focus on results and a problem-solving approach. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively. Highly organised, with a proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently. Collaborative team player, demonstrating a strong work ethic and the ability to contribute positively in a team-oriented environment.
