About the Role We are seeking an Application Developer to join our team.
This role is Perth based and reports to our Business Systems Team Lead.
As our Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing custom business solutions, providing second-level support, and developing integration solutions between systems.
You will need the ability to: Assist in the design, development, and testing of custom business applications/solutions.Provide second-level support and troubleshooting for software issues.Develop integration solutions between systems.Resolve minor bugs in existing applications.Deliver accurate and timely reports and assist in report development.Gather information from team members and customers to identify potential application improvements.Document all changes and update the code version control system.Contribute to the overall IT strategy with a focus on custom applications/solutions development.Support the IT team with ad hoc tasks as required.What You Will Bring 3-5+ years' relevant application development experience, ideally within the rail, transportation & logistics industry.Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering (desirable).Proficiency in coding languages including C#, .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET Web API.Experience with MSSQL, Entity Framework.Experience with Power BI.Experience CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).Familiarity with KnockoutJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, or Python would be beneficial.Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.Detail-oriented and proactive in seeking solutions.What We Can Offer Office location in West Perth.Competitive salary and flexible work arrangements (hybrid working 60/40).Career development and growth opportunities.Novated Leasing.Employee Assistance Program for employees and family members.Corporate uniform provided.Be a part of a close-knit and supportive team.Our team are recognised, acknowledged, and rewarded for the amazing work they do.
