We want to revolutionize the way people work, and in doing so, we develop the Appian platform to be simple so our customers can thrive.Our Business Technology team is looking for a Business Technology Analyst II who is customer oriented, analytical, and has an interest in partnering with our software development organization on their infrastructure.To be successful in this role, you need:Windows and Mac desktop administration, including but not limited to system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and attention to detail in resolving technical and operational issues across the organization.Develop and implement solutions to enhance productivity within Appian, leveraging relevant tools and technologies.Provide comprehensive technical support to Appian's global employees through Service Desk cases, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of issues.Provide on-call resolution for mission critical issues and document solutions within the case management system.Enhance overall system security, performance, and availability.Manage end-user hardware and software inventory throughout its lifecycle, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and disposal procedures.Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders of many levels, having the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical resources.Maintain a comprehensive repository of documentation, regularly updating and contributing to it to capture best practices and troubleshooting procedures.Exhibit an interest in emerging technologies, with a basic understanding of cloud computing.Perform a variety of basic user-problem analyses for the customer Service Desk; assist with monitoring the application systems and ensure a prompt and appropriate response to customer requests and issues.Some of the tools and resources we will equip you with include:We'll immerse you into our community rooted in respect starting on day one.

in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.Excellent problem solving skills and talent for identifying creative solutions.Exceptional communication and customer service skills (verbal/written).Competency in administering desktop operating systems.Ability to work nights or weekends, as needed, to perform regular onsite maintenance or on-call duties.Extreme attention to detail.Experience with cloud computing, or Appian product is a plus.
