An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Giving team at Plan International Australia as the Appeals and Cash Giving Officer, with an exclusive focus on our Cash Giving programme. This is an exciting 5 month fixed-term position, covering a Long Service leave term within the team. The role will support our Giving Manager, Cash & Gift in Wills to oversee a $1.7 million portfolio of Cash income from seasonal cash appeals, emergency appeals and Gifts of Hope virtual gifts programme. Plus, you will be joining a team that recently won FIA's Fundraising Team of the Year!What is it really like?An average day in the PIA, the Giving team is quite varied – no day will be quite the same, but throughout your time, we will see you performing these duties:Operationalise fundraising strategies for appeals and other Cash giving products/activities as requested, including:Develop briefs for stakeholders as required.Ensuring effective key stakeholder communication and coordination.Manage product timelines where relevant.Project managing the production of fundraising creative for channels such as direct mail, email and web – including writing, editing and proofreading copy as required.Update project management applications.Manage suppliers as required, including transfer of collateral.Help identify and implement new opportunities within our Gifts of Hope product, from new creative to new products and channels through to optimising technology and suggesting process improvements in order to maximise Return on Investment for the overall program.Who are you?We're looking for a confident communicator who is comfortable liaising with external and internal stakeholders. You will also need strong numeracy skills and be an excellent project manager, with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands.The core skills we are looking for are:Experience in project and stakeholder management, including exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in fundraising or similar, including experience working in direct marketing.Computer literate with demonstrated ability in generic packages such as Microsoft Office and database systems.Familiarity with using Microsoft Teams Task Boards.Familiarity with SalesForce.Familiarity with Shopify.Hours, pay and start date?This is a full-time fixed term position that falls under Level 3 of the SCHADS Award. We are looking for someone to begin the role in November 2024.We are open to applications from interstate, with a preference for Melbourne-based candidates.
