As Worn By Apparel Pty Ltd – Burleigh Heads QLDAn exciting position exists for an experienced and creative Senior Apparel Designer to join our team. It's a hands-on role working within a small agile and creative team across wholesale to mass retailers and direct to consumer E-Commerce. This role will work closely with all areas of the business – including sales, operations and marketing.Our brand presence at major retail level plus our social and online platforms are the core of our business, so the role is high energy and very reactive.Employment Type:Part-Time or Full-timeKey Responsibilities:Manage the design process from ideation to productionCreate and manage production artwork tech-packs from end to endCreate retail brand presentations for range selectionManage all aspects of online products to enhance and maximize sales and exposureUpload products to web platforms, maintain collections and product categoriesResearch market leaders and competitor's websites for potential updates and best practicesAssist in launching seasonal and promotional campaigns in line with marketing initiativesSupport photoshoots to enhance online sales performanceContribute creatively to social and gifting strategies that enhance and influence online salesAssist with digital content and creative tasks for all social media platformsDesign artwork for web, online, print, and all other branding assetsAbout our Ideal Applicant:3-5 years previous experience working in the apparel industry with exposure to and an understanding of brand licensingAdvanced skills with the Adobe suite (i.e. Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign / Lightroom)Experience in Web Design and PhotographyPhoto-editing and retouching skillsStrong Shopify skills (not essential but highly regarded)Creative with a love for fashion and knowledge in a similar roleAbility to handle multiple tasks accurately and effectivelyExperience working in a high growth environment, with constantly shifting prioritiesActs with a sense of urgency, strong time management skillsCompleted a degree in Graphics/Marketing/Comms or demonstrated experience in a similar roleAbility to think logically and critically to ensure visual communications fit cohesively togetherAdaptable, able to multi-task, open to feedback, and deliver quickly and accurately on briefsHighly motivated, willing to tackle challenges head-on, pushing boundaries, and thinking outside of the box
