The 'App Enablement Specialist' will be responsible for creating a meaningful and well-rounded experience for apps and developers who join the Ecosystem's commercial programs. You will be the first Xero that many of our apps and developers will engage with and will continue to be a part of various touch points for them on their journey with us. The Ecosystem team operates Xero's App Store, app and developer programs and the API platform that underlies it.
Your deep understanding of the commercial models and relationship building will be crucial in delivering a great all-round experience and driving the ongoing engagement and enablement of our apps. You'll be helping apps to join Xero's App Partner Program and achieve continued growth and success in our ecosystem. You will engage and support a range of internal stakeholders including other teams in Developer Relations as well as other teams such as Ecosystem Platform Marketing, Partnerships and Ecosystem Product.

What you'll do Connect and grow end-to-end relationships with apps and developers with a focus on those who are already certified or want to be certified. Build expert knowledge on our commercial models and respond to queries about them. Engage with apps on growth and enablement initiatives e.g. through App Check-ins, App Listing Reviews and other projects. Manage and triage cases in the Salesforce queues you are responsible for. Answer basic technical and accounting questions as it relates to our commercial models. Vet use cases, assess and prioritise applications to ensure they meet pre-certification requirements. Approve the commercial model each app gets onboarded to and then support apps who later switch commercial models. Build relationships with internal Xero teams including partnerships, ecosystem billing and ecosystem marketing to facilitate good feedback loops, support onboarding and uplift app engagement and enablement. Assign and assist with balancing cases across Developer Relations where appropriate. Proactively understand and manage risks as they relate to your role. Plan, coordinate and track ongoing projects and tasks as they relate to your role. What you'll bring Experience working within SaaS or Platform companies. Previous experience in an inbound support role working with queue management. Some accounting knowledge. Experience discussing basic technical topics with developers. Excellent communication skills - explain complex concepts clearly and concisely. Why Xero?
