Senior Fund Accountant (1 year contract) Sydney Description
This is a 1 year maternity cover. The role will provide financial accounting services to various Managed Investment fund and Property fund clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Job specification Management of key client accounts and relationships Maintenance of the general ledger for Managed Investment funds / Property funds and reconcile back to the source of truth on a timely basis Prepare month end accounting reports - trial balance, profit/loss, balance sheet and client specific reports as required by clients Calculation of periodic taxable income distributions for Managed Investment funds / Property funds Preparation of BAS returns and assist with tax returns Create annual and semi-annual financial statements for Managed Inv. / Property funds Review the work performed by fund accountants Provide mentoring and support to junior team members Work with audits and clients to ensure all requirements and requests are answered in a timely manner Ad hoc project work including improvement of processes and procedures.
