The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Project Engineer to join us in our Engineering and Planning team in Perth, WA on a Permanent Full Time Basis.
Reporting to the Team Lead Project Delivery WA, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing technical tasks to support project goals across Stay in Business (SIB), Customer, and Third-Party projects, mentoring junior engineers, and assisting Project Managers with technical project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support alignment with company project frameworks, engineering and quality standards, as well as customer and regulatory requirements.
Deliver project tasks in line with plans and asset strategies, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality outcomes are met.
Coordinate and prepare technical submissions to fulfil regulatory requirements.
Oversee construction, commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.
Collaborate on strategies to deliver programs efficiently, cost-effectively, and on schedule.
Your background
Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry or related sectors, encompassing the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of gas transmission assets.
Engineering degree in Electrical and Instrumentation or Control Systems.
Proven track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary projects across mechanical, pipeline, electrical, instrumentation, and control disciplines. Demonstrated success in simultaneously managing multiple projects, delivering results through innovative problem-solving.
Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, estimating, and cost control to ensure alignment with customer expectations and project timelines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise technical reports.
Experience with programming and RTU projects (preferred).
