The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Planning and Environment Advisor to join us in our Power Planning and Environment Team in Perth on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Planning & Environment Manager, you will provide support to gain environmental approvals for the development of large-scale renewable energy and power transmission projects in the Pilbara.
Key Responsibilities
Building relationships with key stakeholders and assist the business to secure all environmental approvals required for new projects. Coordinate environmental investigations and manage specialist consultants deliverables. Collaborate with internal teams to manage schedule, contractors and environmental outcomes. Manage compliance and reporting of project environmental commitments. Understanding and ensuring projects comply with regulatory, governance and community requirements. Your Background
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices. Excellent technical skills in environmental science or engineering. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a similar role in energy, mining or infrastructure projects. The ability and willingness to travel to the Pilbara, including remote areas. Working at APA
