Multiple casual opportunities available Based in our Ivanhoe Residential Withdrawal Unit RN Grade 3A + increase your take-home pay with up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits Your new role This is a great opportunity for a values-driven nurse to provide care and support to people on their journey to achieve alcohol and drug withdrawal in our Residential Withdrawal Unit in Ivanhoe.
You will be part of a strong multidisciplinary team supporting consumers with a holistic approach to assessment, planning, and care. Our clients are ambulant and can manage their personal care.
You will work rotating rostered shifts over the full 24-hour period. During business hours you will report to the Senior Registered Nurse on shift. When working outside these hours you will have the confidence and experience to oversee the team and clinical decision making.

Most importantly, you have a track record working with clients with problematic drug and/or alcohol use in a calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental manner.
You will also bring with you:
Ability to communicate in a non-confrontational way and provide emotional support to individuals going through the difficult process of withdrawal Ability to work in a dynamic environment with many variables, being able to think critically, problem solve, and make informed decisions Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Nursing and registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse Competency in dual diagnosis (or willingness to complete within the first 24 months of employment) How to apply Click APPLY to submit your interest.
