High Profile Government Department | Multiple locations across QLDASAP START | Attractive pay rates from $79.94 p/h + Super (PAYG)WFH 2 days a week!Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an AO7 Principal Risk Advisor on a 6-month + extension Temp assignment with the opportunity to go directly with the client afterwards and apply for the permanent position within the Team.This role will be supporting the department's rollout of the risk management & business continuity frameworks along with supporting the leadership team.Location : This role can be based at any of the below locations:Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Cairns, Maroochydore, Rockhampton,Townsville,MackayResponsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited ToAdvise and support the leadership team in matters of risk management, using risk tools, understanding the risk appetite statement and various other related risk documents.Coordinate and deliver specific training and development initiatives designed to strengthen risk management activities.Contribute to the development, implementation and review of the organisations risk management framework, policy and process.provide high quality advice to management and staff on contemporary risk management, issues, and trends.Research and analysing complex and sensitive performance and risk management issues in accordance with government procedures and legislative requirements.Lead the coordination of QBCC's annual insurance renewal program to ensure key timeframes are met for the placement of Insurance policies including the collation of required information from internal and external stakeholders.
