Ao7 Principal Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AO7 Principal Financial Accountant to join their team for an initial 3 month contract.

You will be responsible for providing direction to the management and operation of the Department's financial ledgers, maintaining accurate and timely financial information, and preparing annual financial statements.

Based in Brisbane CBD with WFH flexibility, you'll be joining a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the role: Provide expert direction to the management and operation of the Department's financial ledgers.Maintain and manage the production of accurate and timely financial information.Apply expert knowledge to the preparation of the Department's annual financial statements.Provide expert advice on financial accounting issues, policies, guidelines, methodologies, and systems.Develop work schedules and relevant project plans to ensure key outcomes are delivered on time.Lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of financial information and statistics.Ad-hoc duties as required. About you: Comprehensive knowledge and experience in financial accounting.Understanding and application of legislative requirements and best practices.High level analytical skills for compliance monitoring activities.Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
