Randstad is seeking a dynamic Principal Communications Officer to play a pivotal role in the Next Gen Communications (NGC) initiative and the Enterprise Email Marketing Solution (EEMS) project. This position is crucial for transforming our corporate communication approach, focusing on audience needs and enhancing engagement across the department.
Key Responsibilities: Develop a SharePoint Online resources hub (essential experience) for communication officers across the department, ensuring easy access to essential tools and information. Collaborate with the EEMS project team to co-design scalable governance and business management protocols that improve communication processes and can be applied to other channels. Support the implementation of the EEMS solution, which includes training users, managing data migration, and retiring existing systems, such as Vision6. Lead change management initiatives to foster a culture of effective communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring that staff are equipped to engage effectively with stakeholders. Plan, create, and deliver engaging internal communications that resonate with various audience groups within the Department of Education. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience in strategic communication within large, decentralized organizations, with a strong focus on audience engagement. Demonstrated expertise in SharePoint Online, including the ability to design, build, and manage a resources hub effectively. Strong skills in developing and implementing business processes and governance frameworks that enhance organizational communication. Familiarity with the Department of Education's communication structures and processes is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse project team, engaging with various stakeholders. Working Arrangement: This position offers a hybrid working model, generally requiring attendance in the office three days a week, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.
