Initial 6 month contractBased Brisbane CBD, close to public transportAttractive hourly rateKey responsibilities: Coordinate debt management activities, including reconciling the accounts receivable general ledgerManage the collection process by sending reminder notices for outstanding payments, monitoring overdue accounts, and following up with customersAssist in preparing write-offs and payment plan briefing papersManage and monitor payment processes, resolving issues, identifying improvements and implementing changesManage the input of financial data into the department's financial management system (SAP)Provide quality financial advice to the Finance Manager, and senior officers of the department in a timely manner, in accordance with relevant legislation and internal guidelines.Ad-hoc duties as requiredKey requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skillsConfident in making outbound telephone callsCan work both autonomously and as a member of a small teamExcellent attention to detail skills, and able to make tight deadlinesAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
