12 month contract Attractive hourly rate Based in Ipswich with WFH flexibility Dynamic team culture What you'll do: Assist in the provision of a high-quality business support service within the Division Develop productive relationships across finance and stakeholders Assist in managing business functions including financial, activity and human resource performance Provide financial information and advice for accurate and timely reporting Assist in month end reporting and financial requirements Contribute to the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the Divisional budget Administer training to health service staff in relation to financial policies, practices and systems What you'll bring: Effective delivery of business partnering, performance reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting functions Ability to assist in the preparation and ongoing maintenance of budgets Accurate and timely advice on application of relevant legislation, regulations, policy and procedures Organisational skills with ability to manage heavy workload, competing priorities, meeting deadlines Microsoft Excel skills with understanding of formula driven financial models Practical expertise in contemporary enterprise-wide financial management applications Prior Government or Healthcare experience highly regarded Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
