The Opportunity: This position is based in Mackay and as a Project Administration Officer, you will provide quality project and contract administration services for Project Managers, Superintendents and Superintendent's Representative in accordance with Conditions of Contract and Internal procedures and policies. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Creating and maintaining project and work orders. Managing project budgets. Monitoring costs and conducting reporting activities. Reviewing system data for accuracy. Generating purchase requisitions and processing accounts for payment. Reconciling and closing projects in a timely manner. Processing contractual payments and maintaining records. Your Skills & Experience: Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with the following skills and experience: Experience in project and work order administration, preferably in the public sector. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in budget management and cost monitoring. Ability to review and correct system data accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Ellipse and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
