The Role As a Property Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of estate goods, chattels, and vehicles. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough property inventories, overseeing house clear outs, and adhering to strict policies and procedures to maintain a professional and ethical reputation.
What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive property inventories and house clear outsHandle and distribute estate goods, chattels, and vehicles with care and respect.Collaborate with team members to manage risk and fraud controls.Develop expertise in inventory procedures, including handling valuables.Manage tasks efficiently and within specified time lines.Provide timely advice and support to the Senior Property Officer.Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.You: The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with strong empathy and have previously worked in a team environment. You will be able to demonstrate the following:
Be comfortable working in a changing work environmentPrevious experience in the community services industry is highly desirableExcellent communication and administrative skillsAble to work under pressure in a fast paced environmentComfortable working in a physical environment with consideration of safety and well being.Solution orientated and collaborative mindset.Experience in inventory management, insurance assessment, valuation may be helpfulBasic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills and confidence to quickly learn additional IT systemsHigh confidentiality, empathy and resilience to deal with people in distressA National Criminal History check will be required before placementDriver's License Apply To be considered for this position, please apply below with your CV and cover letter in Microsoft Word format.
