The Role As a Property Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of estate goods, chattels, and vehicles. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough property inventories, overseeing house clear outs, and adhering to strict policies and procedures to maintain a professional and ethical reputation.
What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive property inventories and house clear outs Handle and distribute estate goods, chattels, and vehicles with care and respect. Collaborate with team members to manage risk and fraud controls. Develop expertise in inventory procedures, including handling valuables. Manage tasks efficiently and within specified time lines. Provide timely advice and support to the Senior Property Officer. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment. You: The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with strong empathy and have previously worked in a team environment. You will be able to demonstrate the following:
Be comfortable working in a changing work environment Previous experience in the community services industry is highly desirable Excellent communication and administrative skills Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment Comfortable working in a physical environment with consideration of safety and well being. Solution orientated and collaborative mindset. Experience in inventory management, insurance assessment, valuation may be helpful Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills and confidence to quickly learn additional IT systems High confidentiality, empathy and resilience to deal with people in distress A National Criminal History check will be required before placement Driver's License Apply To be considered for this position, please apply below with your CV and cover letter in Microsoft Word format.
