Ao3 Housing Officer

Troocoo Troocoo Government are proud to be partnering with a Large QLD State Government Department to recruit multiple A03 Housing Officers.
This role is based in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane and will commence immediately for the right candidates.
Your New Position As an A03 Housing Officer your duties will be: Working collaboratively to respond to customers, undertake customer interviews, make referrals to support service agencies, assess new housing and bond loan applications and rental grants.
Managing tenancy arrangements, allocations and vacancies, liaising with the community and other housing providers.
Conducting home visits to properties, resolving tenancy disputes and complaints and managing the maintenance/inspections of properties.
Monitoring and managing outstanding arrears, rent assessments, pay deductions and refunds and actioning sundry debts and collections.
Effectively using Microsoft products and other IT systems to maintain accurate customer and property records and file notes.
Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied.
Essential Requirements To be successful within this role you will need: A Class C driver's license.
Previous experience within a Housing Officer position or similar will be highly regarded  Ability to operate within a Housing Service Centre and in the field, including meeting customer's within their homes.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and show resilience within a working environment.
