Due to the upcoming election and ongoing projects, temporary and casual staff are required for administrative and support duties until projects are complete.Roles Include:Business Support OfficerMaintenance Support Officer (Call Centre)Project Administration OfficerProcurement OfficerContract Administration OfficerPayroll OfficerSenior Purchasing AdvisorLocations:Brisbane and surrounding suburbsIpswichGold CoastToowoombaSunshine CoastMaryboroughBundabergHervey BayCairnsMackayRockhamptonMount IsaTownsvilleEmeraldGladstoneDuties Include (not limited to):Proficient data entry skills with a keen focus on accuracyResponsibilities entail generating work requests in Ellipse, establishing electronic files, and managing quote tracking E numbersAssisting the Senior Business Support Co-Ordinator with administrative tasks, maintaining fleet records, and managing records for telecommunication/computer devicesThis role is responsible for the entry of Field Staff timesheets, labour costing, leave, staff movements and extensions of field and office staff.An understanding of payroll principles and the ability to pick up errors.Demonstrate high-level interpersonal skills including negotiation, minimization of aggression, and dispute resolution as appropriate.Provision of management of "document control (Aconex)" and administration support to Project Managers and Superintendent Reps.Project work request and project number creation as required/requested.Entering and maintaining forecast and approved project budget.Monthly billing activities, including review of unbilled costs, checking of final and draft billing files, investigating and resolving billing issues.Engaging in direct communication with suppliers to foster strong relationships and streamline procurement processes.Prepare and call tenders for a variety of categories involving construction, maintenance, consulting, and upgrade activities, including evaluation and regulatory techniques.Undertake operational purchasing activities including ordering goods/services and processing a range of purchase orders and field release orders.These positions suit candidates who have previous Public Sector experience and work to Government processes.
