Description: Join our team as a Client Service Officer and immerse yourself in the dynamic realm of Queensland's vocational education and training system. In this role, you'll be the go-to source for accurate information and advice, ensuring stakeholders receive comprehensive guidance on the department's diverse range of programs and activities. Your role will encompass a spectrum of tasks, including conducting interviews, field visits, and surveys, as well as interpreting legislation and departmental policies to provide exceptional service. Leveraging your administrative acumen, you'll navigate departmental systems and software applications to deliver essential support services. As a proactive team member, you'll also contribute to project monitoring, research, and analysis, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and innovative thinking by identifying opportunities for improvement within training and employment projects and programs. Key Responsibilities: - Provide accurate information, advice, and service delivery to stakeholders of Queensland's vocational education and training system. - Support programs through various activities such as marketing, conducting interviews, field visits, surveys, and data entry. - Provide administrative and support services, including the use of departmental IT systems and software applications. - Assist with monitoring projects, programs, processes, and activities, including basic research and analysis. - Identify opportunities for improvement within training and employment projects and programs. Requirements: - Sound knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of departmental programs and services. - Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team - Strong organizational, problem-solving skills, prioritize work commitments, meet deadlines, and support colleagues. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, interview, and written communication skills. - No mandatory qualifications required, but practical experience in a similar role is advantageous. Role Requirements: - Holding or preparedness to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
